On 24th Sept. everybody on the streets of Thiruvananthpuram were surprised to see Magician Anand’s son Akash driving on the streets of the city blindfoldedly to stress the need for safe driving. The stunt was staged to urge especially offensive drivers to follow traffic rules to make the roads a safe place for all. Other members of Jadugar Anand also drove with him and some volunteers also followed them.Akash Awasti was blindfolded with a piece or cardboard, cotton and plaster of paris cut in the shape of an eye glass – held together with a band of black cloth wrapped over. Before starting, a hood was placed over his face and volunteers guided Akash to his motorbike.

Everyone was amazed to watch him make the correct turns and curves. The blind folded Akash even adjusted speeds and applied brakes to avoid potholes and collision with other vehicles.Akash later told this feat of his combination of tricks, meditation and concentration. His message to public was that when blindfolded riders can navigate safely on busy roads, why should accidents take place during normal driving.

fire stunt bt akash

I am a father of 2 Kids –Yuvraj & Yati. I am basically from Jabalpur at present posted in Trivandrum.
Through ads, I came to know that great magician Anand and this team is having a feat “Fire Escape” at chandrashekhar Nair Stadium at 4:00 PM.
As I belong to Jabalpur and Mr. Anand too. I told my kids about it and they got very excited to go and watch. I always encourage. My kids to be aware of all these so, I decided to go and watch the feat along with my family.
We saw the heat was on at the Grounds where Jadugar Anand’s team came up with a sensational fire escape act. Tied up with a chain and locked (not one or two locks, but 45) Akash came out of a haystack on fire, unscratched and unchained. That’s magic for you. In his mid 20’s, Akash is said to have created a record of sorts in the world of magic. Chained shoulder down by a 45-feet chain and fastened by approximately 45 locks, Akash was lifted upside down by a crane and put in the middle of the wigwam like haystack.

Two fire engines and ambulances, which were stationed in case of any eventuality, went abuzz with their sirens. Tension was building up. Jadugar Anand’s team set fire to the haystack and in no time it was blazing. But before one could blink one’s eyes, Akash was out of the burning haystack, unchained and unharmed. The team members wrapped him in a blanket and brought him on the stage to a round of applause.

My kids and even I really enjoyed.
